I received an email to take a refresher course but I am not sure what this is for.

The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) provides online training material regarding ethics in the areas of Human Subjects Research, Lab Animal Research, Good Clinical Practices, and the Responsible Conduct of Research. If you received a reminder email the course you completed on the CITI Program website while affiliated with a participating institution is soon to expire. Follow the directions in the email to take the appropriate refresher course*. If you are no longer required to hold a valid CITI completion report you can ignore the reminder email.
